I bought this BCG knowing it was going to be good, but I was still surprised by how good it was after putting about 100 rounds through it. The ZrN coating is very effective at protecting from carbon build up. The carbon wipes right off in most cases, and after an actual cleaning it looks brand new again. Aesthetically, it’s the best looking BCG that I’ve seen. The FDE inside the black upper receiver looks outstanding. I’m very happy with my purchase, and I’ll be a returning customer.

I have years of experience with the M-16/M-4/AR-15 platform from my military service. Typical Mil-Spec BCGs have a "clunky" feel to them. These literally are the smoothest actuating BCGs I have ever fired!

I was fortunate enough to acquire two Balanced Bolt Carriers (BBC) in NP3 before they were discontinued, and I have always been impressed with how perfectly and steadily they ran. So I made the decision to purchase two of the new XPBs in either coating, the Diamond Like Coating (DLC) with the Hyper Black polish, & the FDE Zirconium Nitride (ZrN) coating. WOW!
