ordered 20" light barrel, black. Shipped fast, shoots great!

they bent over backwards to make me happy. they sent a new barrel with out me asking for one. the service is exceptional.

I was sold on the caliber especially for medium range hunting. I built the upper and used my Colt lower with standard trigger group. My first rounds were reloads using Sharpes data for 87 gr Speers SP. several mis-feeds and a few jams later I discovered burr's on the feed ramps that were not only causing the mis-feeds ever 3 to 4 rounds but also leaving a significant scratch along the side of the bullet and deformation of the lead tip. Once I figured out the issue Sharps HR person was quick to respond, via email, and ask for the barrel back to replace. I was sent a "new" barrel with some suspicious light scratches that worked fine after it was installed. Although quality control Is in need of help, I had good MOA's of under 1/2" @ 100 yards using 70 blitzkriegs and 90 gr BTHP, and 1" MOA's using 100 gr FBSP. My complaint is the fact I had to pay shipping to return a faulty barrel. Poor customer service on Sharps part!

Several months ago I ordered the 20" barrel and loading dies. Delivery was amazing with excellent packaging, the installation was simple, and the results fantastic. SRC provided load data and helped me work up some spectacular loads. Best of all is the in field performance. I shot a 250 savage for years (one of the pieces that attracted me to the 25-45) and after taking four decent VA whitetails this year I can report the only difference between bolt and AR cartridges is the noticeably lightened recoil with the AR. 3 deer fell to the shot and another ran about 15 yards. Bullets ranged from 80 grain X to 90 Sierra, with stellar performance. I only have one suggestion. If you are building one for a younger shooter - buy two barrels and build yourself one too. You will love the product, company, and in field performance.

I received and installed this barrel yesterday. Perfect fit and fantastic quality. Build consisted of parts from various suppliers, yet the finished rifle looks like a store-bought firearm.
Customer service is top notch. I asked for and received reloading info yesterday.
These folks must have a special shipping technique as I received this barrel in 4 days...during the holiday season.
In summary: I highly recommend SRC.
